Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.
There's little to say about an OrSlow work shirt that isn't immediately apparent just from looking at it. With a relaxed fit, two flap chest pockets, and a curved hem, it's an iconic vintage style in its prime, brand new and ready for travel. This run is made from an indigo-dyed linen plaid fabric with a subtle pattern and a comfortable medium-weight. The garment is held together with heavy flat-felled seams and bartack reinforcements, and the linen drapes beautifully, with a remarkably soft hand and a breathable face. Both the fabric and the garment itself are built to last, intended to be worn for years and years, developing a unique patina over time as the indigo fades from wear and washing.
Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry.
