The Hollywood Trousers are a fantastic vintage-style pant with all our favorite details, from the double pleated front to the wide straight legs, with the usual amount of pockets and a comfortable medium rise. They're cut with an old school wrapped Hollywood waistband, hence the name, and made from one of the nicest fabrics we've encountered this season.
It's sewn up in an exceptionally soft and plush Italian 4-wale corduroy. Made from 100% cotton yarns, the "wale" of a corduroy fabric refers to the thickness of its vertical rows (called "wales"), with smaller numbers indicating thicker and heavier fabrics, while larger numbers indicate more narrow, micro-cords.
The cool grey color of the body is complimented by multicolored neps prevalent throughout the fabric, giving the whole thing a unique and subtle texture that's best appreciated from close up.
The drape is soft and easy, with the fabric moving the same way you do and never hindering motion. The trims are minimal, but always important - from the tonal fly button to the zip closure, to the extra thick 1940s style belt loops.
