Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.
OrSlow doesn't try to reinvent the wheel with their Hawaiian shirts, following the classic recipe with the best ingredients they can get. Kitchen analogies aside, OrSlow's Hawaiian Shirts are some of our very favorites. Absolutely packed with details as subtly as possible, from the two pattern-matched chest pockets, to the tonal buttons, to the pleated back & flat hem - everything is done in service of elevating the final product.
It's made from OrSlow's latest seasonal print, a sand yellow 100% cotton fabric with warm toned forest scenes all over. Highly detailed and evocative of classic camouflage patterns, it's eye-catching without being over the top, blending handsomely with simpler garments as well as other more complex patterns. Lightweight and breathable, it's ideal for summer months and hot weather, further complementing the breezy and relaxed fit.
