The Fargo is our long-running heavyweight denim overshirt from Indigofera. We've all got at least one in our closets and swear by it.
Sewn up in Indigofera's lightweight No. 3 "Shrink to Prima Fit" denim, this is an unsanforized and unwashed jacket that will shrink as much as 10% on the first wash and dry. This 100% cotton, 11.5oz loomstate denim was custom produced for Indigofera by Nihon Menpu in Japan, and was rope-dyed to get its indigo color.
Fabric No. 3 is a lower tension weave with a subtly hairy surface that obscures an irregular weave structure. Over time, as the hairy texture is worn down, the unevenness of the weave will become more prominent.
The hardware is equally impressive - custom Indigofera brass snaps close up the placket, pockets, and cuffs while custom copper rivets reinforce stress points. The two chest pockets are secure and perfect for things like keys or a cardholder, and the sleeves cuff easily for maximum comfort on a warm (but not hot) day.
Runs large, but will shrink to tag size on first wash. Wash cold, hang dry.
