The Lot 64 by Mister Freedom are inspired by the details of 1950’s blue jeans, but dragged forward into the 1960’s with the tiniest bit of leg taper, and a touch less rise. Put more simply, these feature a comfortable mid rise, with a fairly straight leg that tapers very slightly below the knee, and looks great with sneakers or over boots.
They're cut in a classic five pocket configuration, with exposed copper rivets - no fancy western pockets, the fabric is the real star here.
Said fabric is an indigo dyed, 100% cotton jungle cloth. Developed by Buzz Rickson's as a reproduction of the original N-1 Jacket's grosgrain jungle cloth, the outer face has a tight vertical texture, while the inner face is soft and smooth. The indigo dye will fade over time as well, aging uniquely to the way you wear them.
It's sewn up in a cotton poly-core thread, for maximum durability through all the seams - a necessity, as the 14oz jungle cloth is sturdy and thick. Mister Freedom's signature "M" stitching adorns both back pockets, and an MF branded tea core leather patch sits on the right side back pocket.
These run true to size. Spot clean and wash only when necessary - turn them inside out and wash with cold water on the delicate cycle. The indigo dye will bleed heavily during the first few washes. Hang dry.
