Founded in 2008 by longtime friends Tony PaTELLA and Pete SearSON, Tellason started life with one style of jean. That was it, the entire collection.

That one style, the John Graham Mellor, is still in their lineup today - although it’s since been joined by several other denim fits, shirts, jackets & sweatshirts.

Tellason’s commitment to US-made extends the whole way through the production process, meaning that all their materials are domestically-sourced. Their denim is all milled in North Carolina at the famous Cone Mills. Their leather patches come by way of Tanner Goods in Portland, OR. The pocket lining, buttons, rivets – even the thread – are all from the good ol’ US of A. One of the founding philosophies of Tellason was that their goods should be made with quality as the driving force, which was a huge reason why they chose to use suppliers that they could visit in person and form real-world relationships with.

Besides an obsession with quality, Tellason have also gone far down the rabbit hole of searching out the perfect fit – and pretty much any body shape can find a Tellason cut to fit, be it a pair of raw denims, a canvas workshirt or a heavy fleece sweatshirt.

Dedicated to producing raw denim, Tellason do not offer washes, or fades, or distressed denim. They are 100% committed to giving you raw denim and letting you make it your own.

As a cheeky nod to the history of denim in San Francisco, every pair of Tellason 5-pocket jeans contains a red tab on the back-right pocket. However, unlike a certain other denim company from the Bay Area, this red tab ininside the pocket, and reads ‘LeGAL’.
