Freeman Seattle

Scott and Brittany Freeman started their eponymous brand, quite literally, on the kitchen table in their Seattle apartment, in the fall of 2011.

As with many smaller manufacturers, their brand was born out of the frustration of not being able to find the absolutely perfect garment for their needs, leading them to begin with a single waterproof jacket, which ticked all of the boxes for Scott, and then move on to the capsule collection they now offer, which still includes that same jacket but now encompasses shirts, vests and a few other pieces.

Styled classically, yet designed with function in mind, Freeman’s collection is designed with the ever-unpredictable climate of their Pacific Northwest home in mind and whilst they are no longer making their clothing in that same kitchen, their ‘home-cooking’ philosophy is still evident in every piece they make – essentially constructing clothes for themselves, and being generous enough to make a few more for us to share.
